Nicknames

Nicknames are so much fun! We call a bunch of different things, but patty seems to be the most common one. When she is tired, we call her a tired patty. When she is fussy we call her a fussy patty or cranky patty. When we get a wiff of her neck rolls or dirty diaper we call her a stinky patty.. hehe. Then there is silly patty, and sweaty patty, cutie patty, precious patty and flailing patty. Sometimes we just call her patty. This "patty" term came from Ryan's little brother Russell, and for some reason we feel that patty fits Cami perfectly! haha!

Lately she has been laughing a whole bunch. She has also realized she has a voice, so she talks a whole bunch too! A couple weeks ago, ryan put her down in her bouncer in front of the TV to watch some cartoons. She sat there and screamed at the TV.. hahaha!!! It was hilarious. It sounded like she was crying but you look at her face and she was smiling. She went on for about 20 minutes. SOOO funny. Oh did I mention she is becoming quite the loud patty? She really loves the TV. Especially the noggin channel.

She is getting really big! She now weighs 15.6 ounces. When I am in public, many people will say "how old is she? 6 months?" haha. At church a couple weeks ago I saw a baby who is 6 months old, and Cami is the same size but a little chunkier than her. Its funny, she is such a big girl. (for those of you who dont know, she just barely turned 4 months yesterday)

We have held her up a couple times to see how she holds herself sitting up. Surprisingly, she does really well. The more she does it, the more she tries to sit up on her own. Yesterday in the car, she kept lifting her head and grunting because she was trying to sit up. It is really fun to watch her try new things.

She also wants to chew on everything. Even when im holding her, she grabs my hand and pulls it up to her mouth, and chews on my finger. She is definitely exploring the world with that cute mouth of hers! Looks like its time to get out the chew toys :).. oh, excuse me... teething toys :). She is precious and is such a blessing to us. I cant imagine life without our little princess!
