Growing up SO fast

What can I say?.. cami is growing up so fast! She is now 5 1/2 months old and is sitting up really well all by herself. The last couple of days she has been trying to crawl as well. She lays there on her tummy holding herself up on her hands, and lifts her bum and wiggles, then drops it. Its so cute and funny to watch. Although she doesnt move forward at all, she moved backward about a foot yesterday:


I guess once she starts crawling, mommy and daddy are going to have to stop being messy pattys.

At Willard Bay state park there is an awesome christmas light display. The whole park is decorated with lights and you drive through and look at all of them. Cami LOVED it SOOO much! I put her up on my lap and we rolled down the window to watch the lights. There was also christmas music playing. Cami soaked it all up! Here she is all bundled up in her carseat before leaving to see the lights:


She has mastered eating real food and loves every minute of it. She has tried applesauce, pears, bananas and sweet potatoes. Bananas seem to be her favorite. Mealtime is her favorite time of the day :). She has started to grab my face when I am feeding her a bottle. She likes to grab and hold onto my nose when she eats. She also likes to hold onto my hair really tight and pull. OUCH!!!!! She has stopped sucking her thumb completely. I cant even remember the last time she tried. "YAY!! Im so glad we wont have to break her of that!" Her hair is getting long on top and her balding man hair cut is now filling in. She is getting quite pudgy and heavy. Carrying the carseat is no longer an easy job, but hey its ok. Mommy is getting buff :). She loves to grab her feet, especially during diaper changes. She is wearing many of her 6 months outfits now. Some of them are still quite big, but most of her 3-6 months are too small. So I guess she is in between sizes right now. She is such a little bundle of joy and is so happy all the time. We are the luckiest parents in the world!
