6 month checkup

Today was cami's 6 month checkup. She now weighs 17 1/2 lbs, which puts her in the 75th percentile for weight. Her height is now in the 90th percentile and she is 26 inches long. She had 5 shots again :(, but she did pretty well this time. She gobbled the liquid shot down, which really surprised me. She seemed to really like the taste. She didnt even cry when they did the first two, but the last two she didnt react to as well. She only cried for a few seconds though, and has been fine since.

She still has not mastered crawling forward, but im sure its only a matter of time. She gets up on her knees and even stands on her palms and feet with her butt in the air like she is doing yoga or something. haha! Its super cute to see her try to crawl. Even though she cant crawl yet, she seems to make it around the room just fine by moving backwards. She will spin around on her tummy until she has her back to what she wants to play with, then moves backwards. She seems to always find the cords to the xbox, even if they are on the opposite side of the room.




She really loves bathtime and had a blast in the tub yesterday. She has grown quite fond of splashing and got a huge splash and drenched her face. Followed by a huge gasp of fresh air and a look up at me to make sure i was still there. She also turned herself around in her tub chair and held onto the back of it and stood up and was bouncing up and down like she was dancing. She is too funny! She really loves to stand and always gets the biggest smile on her face when she is doing it. She loves books also, and really likes to be read to, even if she is trying to eat the book in the process. Still drooling like its going out of style, but no teeth yet. Our precious little girl really is growing up so fast!
