She even decided to share with Daddy:
She had a nice long bath after dinner :)
Some of you already know this but we have a situation with safety gates in our house. At the top of the stairs, we have a railing, and an oddly shaped post on either side of the stairs. At the bottom we have nothing and another oddly shaped post. Because of this, we cant find a safety gate that will work. Anyone else have this issue? If so... what did you do? K.. so here is our "safety gate". We have been using a kitchen table chair. She figured out how to pull that one out and get to the stairs so we have been putting a huge suitcase in front of it. Well.. someone thinks that we are supposed to pull the suitcase down and sit on it to get through to the stairs....
She really is too smart and strong for her own good though because she can now move the whole thing, no matter how secure we think it is. Many times she will take her bottle or a stuffed animal and have fun dropping them to the other side.
She loves to walk from one side of the couch to the other... and yesterday she was playing up there for about 10 minutes and afterward this is what her hair looked like. Can you say static?
She is well on her way to being able to walk on her own. Yesterday, she stood up and walked about 10 feet. Today she was standing in the kitchen, and I called her and she didnt even hesitate. She walked all the way into the living room all by herself!!! (for those of you who havent been to our house.. that is about 15 feet)It was awesome!! Our little patty really is growing up so fast! We will do our best to catch this on video for all of you soon!

oh my! How cute is that! I am glad you took such great pictures of her eating! And she pulled the gates down?
Way to go, Cami!! Spaghetti is GOOOOOD, isn't it? She sure seems to be enjoying it.
I can't believe she's starting to walk! What a big girl!
I have a safty gate in my closet that we no longer use that works for the downstairs. We moved in when Ava was 7 months old and she started crawling 2 days later. We did the chair thing too until Adam found me the right size gate. Call me and I'll bring it over for you. We seriously don't need it right now.
