We have a WALKER!!

Cami is walking!!! She started taking little steps here and there a little over a month ago, but about 2 weeks ago, she mastered it. She gets up and walks from one end of the house to the other, without even stumbling. She can even turn around without falling down. She rarely crawls anymore, unless what she needs is right next to her. We will need to go get some shoes soon because up until now, we have viewed buying shoes for her as a complete waste of money.. haha.. i know, call us cheap....

We took Cami swimming for the first time last week and she had a BLAST!! The water was a tad bit cold at first, but she actually adjusted to it faster than I did. We found this little "swim school" about a month ago at Sports Authority and it seems to work great. Here she is playing in the pool...



She loved splashing around in the water.. but I have to say that most of the time she was doing this...



The first time we took Cami to the park was about a month ago, and she didnt want any part of being on the grass. She would crawl to the edge of the blanket and touch it and then crawl back to the middle of the blanket. But after 3 or 4 times of going to the park, she warmed up to it and she LOVES it now! After swimming, we played at the park for a little while and she loved being able to walk all over. She even walked up and down a slight hill many times without falling down. She rarely falls anymore when she is walking and seeing her walk still amazes us. It still seems like she was just born. Here she is having a blast at the park....

So notice her hands were together in that last picture? She was in the middle of clapping for herself when I took that picture. She loves to clap for herself now ALL THE TIME and its too stinkin cute!!! Speaking of clapping.... she LOVES ice cream (as I know I have mentioned before) But we managed to get a surprise clap on video and its hilarious!!! Daddy was kind enough to share his Klondike bar with Cami.....
Should we send this into Klondike for a commercial???

There are a few new things that Cami loves to play with. The first and most annoying one is the vent in the floor... are those seriousely just sitting in there.. waiting to be pulled out? YES, of corse they are. So we often find Cami doing this...

Notice the guilty look on her face? Thats right.. she knows she isnt supposed to touch this. Altough she does look dang cute trying to smash between the couch and the wall. Sometimes I even move it closer just to watch her grunt and squeal because seriousely... its SOOOOO funny! That makes me sound so mean doesnt it?

Cami also loves to drive the car...

drinking out of real cups
listening and dancing to music
playing in the pantry
pulling herself up on things (it amazes me how strong she is)
playing with pans and tupperware
soft blankets and stuffed animals... really, anything soft

A few fun facts about Cami:
her hair sticks straight out at all times, even right after its washed.
she now repeats noises we make... mainly coughs and high pitched squeals.
she is the worlds best begger... panting and whining while still holding that smile.
she absolutely adores other babies and animals.
she looks at us and talks all the time, im sure she is assuming we can understand.
she gathers as many toys as she can to take on her walk across the room.
