"OOZE"

Cami has now said her second word. It is shoes.. haha. Silly I know, and kind of sad because she picked shoes over mama, but thats ok. She still says dada often, and when we ask her where her shoes are she wanders around the house saying "ooze". It is soo cute! Here are her adorable shoes!

Occasionally we will ask her where mommys shoes are. Or daddys shoes. She looks for them and if they are where she can see them, she usually brings them to us. The other day she kept bringing ryan his shoes.... but it was too late to go outside :(.

We think she might be saying "oops" when things fall. It sure sounds like "oops", but we cant tell for sure. She watches our mouth when we tell her what things are, but she has not really shown a ton of interest in using words yet. She "talks" all the time though. I guess its possible she is saying actual words, we just cant understand it yet :).

She is of course by now an expert walker and runner. She LOVES to be outside and whines if the door opens for any reason other than to take her outside. She loves evening walks around the neighborhood, which we try to do at least 4 or 5 days a week. We no longer take the stroller, and cami walks the whole way. She loves collecting rocks and tries to pick up every rock she can in her little hands. She has died off on putting them in her mouth as much though, which is great! If the sprinklers are on, there is a stream of water in the gutter along the sidewalk and she loves to play in it. She sat in it one night about a week ago and got SOAKED!

We recently bought her some new toys....finally. Our toys were really out of style, as far as she was concerned. But now she is having a blast with them! However, she does still like to play in the laundry basket:


This little girl is INCREDIBLY ticklish, and seems to be the most ticklish on her feet, sides, armpits, and the back of her thighs. She laughs really hard and her laugh is soooo contageous! We will have to catch this on video and share it if I can ever find out how to get my videos to load.

She is an great kiss giver. All you have to do is ask for a kiss and she runs at you giggling with her mouth wide open. Dont be too surprised if she doesnt offer you kisses though. Mommy and Daddy are usually the only ones who get them. Unless of corse you are a baby:


We also went to an Ogden Raptors game a couple weeks ago with some good friends and she was all about kissing little Seth:


The game was really fun. It was ATK night so we got in for free and sat on the lawn in the outfield. The babies played and got to run around. They even swapped cups for a while because Cami really liked Seth's blue sippy, and Seth was enjoying Cami's bottle. They even shared a WHOLE HOTDOG!.... little piggies! haha. It was cute and they enjoyed their first date.

She loves her little cousin, and has become more and more gentle with her. Cami is completely infatuated with this little baby. She touches her as much as she can, and tries to play with her all the time. Every time Makayla cries, Cami goes to her and cries at us. Its almost like she is telling us what is wrong. haha. Its really sweet to see her be so gentle with her... most of the time :).

Uncle curtis flying Cami around... she is gonna miss her uncle T T. We all are! Curtis enters the MTC on this wednesday, the 26th to serve for 2 years in the Chile Santiago West Mission. We are all going to miss him so much, but are so proud of him for serving a mission! LOVE YOU BUDD!! Youre going to be an amazing missionary!
