She said "MAMA"!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday morning Cami said "mama" for the first time! It was so exciting and it completely melted my heart. I wanted to just sit and hold her all day long. Our little angel is growing up so so soooo fast! She talks all the time now and Ryan and I spend most of our time trying to figure out what she is saying. It is official that she says "oops" and occasionally even says "uh-oh" when something falls. For the past few weeks she has run around pointing saying "woh da".. weve been trying to figure out what shes saying and it occured to us a couple days ago that she is saying "whats that?". Its so precious! It is so fun to watch and teach her to talk!

Whenever we go to for walks, she collects rocks. She picks up as many as she can in her little hands until she cant hold any more. Today, I took her little bucket outside and taught her to put the rocks inside. She picked up on it really fast and was diligently searching the whole yard for more rocks so she could put them in the bucket. It was so cute!

Her favorite place to sit now is in containers, pans, etc. Here are a couple pictures of her new chairs.

She loves to cram herself into really tiny spaces.. especially the laundry basket:

Not that I blame her.. the smell of freshly washed clothes is the best!

She likes to be enclosed, which I think is a good thing because then she wont be closterphoebic like mommy.... She also likes to sit under the computer desk.

She also loves to pretend she is playing video games with daddy:

She has been on a much different sleeping schedule recently. Many days she wont go down for a nap until between 2 and 3, and only naps for about an hour and a half. Then she goes to bed around 10 and wakes up about 9. I feel so lucky to get so much sleep! She often falls asleep in her high chair after lunch... ok so i thought i had a picture but i dont. ill take one next time it happens :).

Her hair is getting SOOOO long now.... her pig tails truly do look like antennas. Here are a few fun pictures I took yesterday. I just love her hair! And this little dress is just adorable! Ill be sad when she outgrows it!

She loves to play in the bath..... AND has pooped in the bathtub twice in the last 2 weeks. GROSSS.... Talk about a mess. The first time wasnt too bad... reason 1) i had her on video at the time :)... we will show that to boyfriends later, reason 2) it hadnt happened before and it was just hilarious, reason 3) the bath was at night and daddy was home so mommy didnt have to clean it up :).... However, mommy wasnt too happy about 5 minutes after she pooped in the tub because as she set cami down on her changing table, cami peed ALL THE WAY DOWN MOMMY!! MY OH MY!! I was covered in it from my stomach to my feet... Im just glad not too much got on the carpet! The second time was just yesterday and it wasnt very funny that time.

Speaking of bathtime, here is a fun picture... MESSYYYYY!!!!! I decided to let her feed herself oatmeal for the first time. We need to practice more often with giving her the spoon... here she is in the tub before mommy got down and chizzled it off:

She is in between sizes right now.. as far as clothes go. She is too big for most of the 12 month, but the 18 months are still a little big. Funny how that works huh? She has a total of 7 teeth now. Her 4 front top, and 3 front bottom. Her 8th is just starting to poke through next to the other bottom teeth. She has quite the personality now, and runs around screeching and talking almost all day long. She can repeat everything we do for the most part... which means we really need to be careful :). Every noise, every movement.. Here is a fun story:

BYU Football started on Saturday, and in an attempt to get cami ready for the football season (we know she will be watching many games with daddy..... anyone who wants to buy us tickets to a home game by the way is MORE than welcome :) hehe) We tried to teach her the cougar fight song. We did the motions to Rah Rah Rah Rah Rah. We only sang it once while teaching her the motions. Then we sang the song to her and the second we started singing Rah Rah Rah Rah Rah, she shook both fists in the air repeatedly! AWESOME!!!!! She is so smart.... not to brag or anything.

Cami got her first official OWIE yesterday. I was ironing, and Cami likes to take off the little nobs at the bottom of the ironing board and play with them. No big deal right? ... wrong! apparently the part the the nobs protect is VERY sharp. She kicked her foot against it and blood was everywhere. It was sooo soooo sooooo sad :(. She cried pretty good for a while, and wanted to run around... but it was still bleeding pretty bad so we made her stay off of it. poor little girl. Here is her bandage.....

....we didnt exactly pass the first aid part of parenting.... and we are for sure supergluing those nobs on so they cannot be taken off again!

That's right, Cami, "MAMA". Mama is the best word EVER, so you just say it over and over and over, ok?

Doesn't it just make your life to hear her say it?

I loved reading your comments about little Cami. We had our first poo in the tub experience recently too. Yuck!
