ATK test launch

For those of you who dont know this, my husband works for ATK. ATK is a company that has contracts with NASA to make the solid rocket boosters for the space shuttle. Ryan works directly with the quality of the fuel used for the project. Every 6 months or so, they do test fires to make sure everything is going smoothly. On Thursday, Cami and I were able to go out and watch one of these... IT WAS AWESOME!! Here is a video. In the beginning, when it is still zoomed in, you can see the shadow grow. That is the cloud of smoke!!! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! Watch it to the end and turn up your volume!! VERY COOL!



Cami absolutely LOVED It and was staring, saying "wowwwwww.... wooowwwww....wwoooowwwwww". It was adorable. She now says "wow" when she finds things interesting. She also says "yay" and claps for herself at the same time. Occasionally, she will say "whoa" when she stumbles or almost falls over. Its stinkin cute!
