Well, things have been very busy in the life of the Parry family the last month. We have decided to sell our home, and look to transfer to a different ATK location. Between painting, patching holes, deep cleaning, and packing.. we are finally on the market! Our garage is full, and our house is empty. The sad part is that we dont use the majority of stuff thats in our garage :). We are pack rats, its true. But thats ok.. one day im sure we will use this stuff.
Cami is changing more and more every day. Talking like crazy, as usual, but it is becoming more and more understandable. She is at such a fun age right now, and we are enjoying every second of it. We are running out of clothes for her (the clothes from my baby shower are finally running out.. i know, im lucky that we got that many clothes in the first place) but because her clothes are running out, ive been able to experiment with making her some. Its been a blast! I made her a brightly colored spring dress, as well as a cute little lady bug skirt. They are adorable, and ive learned so much with this project! Ive decided to challenge myself and make clothes without a pattern, and its actually not as difficult as I thought. I might just turn this into a business one day :). We will see. But thats what I have been doing... playing with our fun, adorable, highly expressive little angel, and sewing.
Ryan has been busy with job interviews in a variety of places across the US. These include Missouri, Maryland, MIssissippi, and California. We are rooting for the California position. Living in California would be a dream come true. The job is in the San Diego area.. we will see what happens :). Ryan has also been involved in quite a few projects for his work. The most exciting of which was his most recent trip to Florida. The man who is the voice for ATK in communications with NASA is Ryan's mentor, and invited him to travel with him down to Florida for a launch meeting. Ryan had a blast! He has really been excelling in his work recently, and is a highly valued employee. Im so proud of him!
Spring in Utah is a very frustrating thing. 70 degrees and sunny one day, and 32 and snow the next day... crazy! I cant wait till summer is here! I cant stand the snow! Luckily though last week we had a couple nice days where we were able to play outside. Cami loves to play outside! She loves the sunshine, the grass, kicking the ball around, playing catch (or throw), going to get the mail. Monday we were outside organizing the garage, and Cami put her baby in our stroller and wanted to take her for a walk. So we did. Cami loved it! She loves going for walks, and soon the weather will be nice enough for us to begin our family evening walks again.
Cami gets really excited about the snow. She loves to stand at the window and repeat "no, no, no" as she points outside. That is how she says snow. Unfortunately she hasnt gotten to play in it very much this winter. She has been sick off and on since the beginning of the year. Both of the sicknesses turned out to be pretty severe ear infections. She recently got over her second one, and we are praying she doesnt get any more. When she was sick, we lied around and watched Disney movies often. Now thats all she wants to do haha. She loves 101 Dalmations and Lady and the Tramp the most, because of her great love for dogs. Its sweet. She brings us a DVD and says "moomie". Its my new favorite word of hers.
I have lots of pictures to post, but I dont know where the camera is. I will find it and post them soon. Happy Easter to you all!!
