Not much success in the potty training department lately. Cami doesnt like to sit on the toilet anymore. Im sure that will change, we will see! Speaking of the word "see"... when either ryan or I are on the toilet, she comes running. She ALWAYS needs to accompany us to the bathroom. She sits and watches, then when we get up, she repeats "see, see, see". so we let her see, she then verbally labels it "poop" or "pee" then proceeds to flush the toilet for us. She is funny.... she likes to flush the toilet. And when she flushes it, she waves and says "bye bye" to the toilet paper. haha!!
She likes to bathe her babies. She usually will not get in the bath until she has found a baby to take a bath with her. She puts soap on them, and uses a washcloth and everything. Its precious. Most days she will spend over a half hour in the bathtub, and then get mad when its time to get out. Ive learned to give her a bath LONG before we need to leave to go somewhere if possible :).
Cami is now at a whopping 24 lbs, and 32 inches tall. She is too tall for her 18 month clothes, and is slowly moving into her 24 month clothes. I cant believe how big she is getting. Time goes by way too fast! Her hair is super long and we usually put it up in a ponytail. If we dont, then she cant see anything all day long. We are still working on training her hair to stay out of her face :).
She is learning her colors well. Most colors are still yellow when we first ask her. But she is getting better at recognizing other colors as well. She finds yellow things all over the house, picks them up and brings them to us and says "yellow". Its cute.
Cami loves to brush her teeth and comb her hair (thank goodness right?). She also likes to wipe her own bum when we change her diaper. She loves to wash her hands after eating as well. She is very into cleaning EVERYTHING! She likes to get a wipe and walk around the house rubbing the walls and the floors, and has been better about only taking 1 or 2 wipes at a time.. rather than the whole box! yes, she has emptied a whole package MANY times.
A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine came over with her daughter that is just a few days older than cami. They were playing in Camis room and we were hanging out in the office. Suddenly we realized that it was really REALLY quiet so we went in to check on them. Each of them had a baby in one hand, and a wipe in the other. They were sitting silently next to eachother cleaning their babies haha! I was listening to a conference talk last weekend (now i cant even remember who it was).. but he talked about women and their natural ability to nurture, and how women from a very young age have that natural ability. I see that natural nurturing in Cami all the time. She is going to be the best older sister, and one day will for sure be an excellent mommy!
This week, Cami thought it would be fun to open the glass door of the entertainment center and lean on it. Well... it broke this time and the glass shattered everywhere, and she got a nice cut on her big toe. After we washed it off though she was running around as if nothing happened. Shes a tough one! So for now and proably for a while, the DVDs will suffer quite a bit of abuse since there is nothing protecting them from Cami.
About a month ago, when Cami was sick, this is how our days were.... Lying on the couch watching Disney Movies.....
Lots of sleeping.. this time on the living room floor.
She is all better now, thank goodness. Its so sad when little babies are sick.
MMMMMM pop tarts! Cami just LOVES them...
Cami getting her groove on...

Watching her dance is seriousely THE funniest thing!
She loves sitting in her princess chair, and cuddling with her baby.
She usually ends up using her chair as a pillow though.
A couple weeks ago when Ryan went out of town for business, Candy and Dane came up and stayed a few days with me and Cami. It was so much fun, and we are going to miss them so much when they move! Cami had fun playing in Adilyn's car seat!
Cami enjoyed playing with her little cousin too!

Here's little Adilyn again. She is SOOOO cute isnt she?
Well there is an update on our little family and all of the fun things Cami is learning and doing. Hopefully next time I blog, I will be doing so from California!! :)

My girls loved playing with Cami today. They both took a long nap when we finally went inside. The weather sure seems to take a turn for the worse whenever we play outside. Cute pictures of Cami!
Cami is such a beautiful little girl! Where did you get the princess chair?
I was laughing at how she has to bathe with her baby and how she pulled out ALL of the wipes.
What a smart girl with her colors! It sounds like she keeps you busy.
When is her birthday?
